Staircase to Heaven twists upward like a sinuous spine, each translucent plane overlapping to create an ethereal helix of pale pink surfaces encased in mint-green frames. Generated in Rhino and Grasshopper through parametric algorithms, the sculpture explores repetition and variation, with each iteration subtly shifting orientation. Light filters through layered polygons, casting oscillating shadows that accentuate the form’s fluid rhythm. The interplay of geometry and transparency evokes movement suspended in time, suggesting both growth and architectural structure. This dynamic composition invites viewers to traverse its undulating contours, encountering an iteration of ascent that blurs boundaries between art, design, and technology.
This project features a 3D trefoil knot structure with a Voronoi pattern distributed across its surface. A pink sphere moves along the central curve of the knot, controlled by a parameter slider in Grasshopper. The sphere’s movement is based on the parameter value, and its color remains pink throughout the animation. The project demonstrates skills in parametric modeling and surface manipulation, using simple geometry interaction with sliders to control motion. This project emphasizes motion dynamics through geometric design in computational design.

這個設計是一個像絲帶一樣在空間中扭曲盤繞的造型。使用 Construct Point 元件建立點,用 Move 元件把這些點移動,讓形狀有起伏。用 Interpolate 元件把點連接成一條平滑的曲線。最後用 Loft 元件,把曲線連接成一個完整的曲面形成了一個有流動感、線條柔美的三維結構。
