114A設計概論 – 方圓 柿皂

在設計過程中，我試圖打破大眾對柿子「圓潤、柔軟」的既定印象。我引入了「八角幾何」的初衷，是為了呼應木工取料初期那種嚴謹、精確的準則。看著一塊帶有稜角的肥皂，隨著使用者的每日搓揉，逐漸消磨邊緣並轉化為「圓滿」的過程，這不僅是物理上的形變，更象徵著一個創作者從剛硬的知識學習，走向圓融智慧的修行。

Square & Circle: Persimmon Soap In this design, I intentionally challenged the conventional perception of persimmons as “round and soft.” By introducing an octagonal geometric form inspired by the precision of early woodworking processes, the soap begins with sharp edges. Through daily use, these edges gradually soften and become rounded, symbolizing not only physical transformation but also a creator’s journey from rigid knowledge acquisition toward integrated wisdom and maturity.
